Poliboy

The company goes back to 1930, when Brandt & Walther was founded in Bremen. In 1939 it created Polirol, a shine oil for furniture and floors whose original formula still underpins its products, and in 1951 Polirol became Poliboy. It set up its own research laboratory in 1967 and in 1984 launched what it describes as Germany’s first propellant-free spray bottle.

Poliboy still makes its products in Germany and is based near Bremen. It celebrated its 95th year in 2025 and was named a “Brand of the Century” (Marke des Jahrhunderts) in Germany in 2018/19.

Our selection is organised by task: concentrates for laminate and parquet floors, Staub Stopper, the anti-static furniture spray that promises up to seven days less dust, cleaners for glass, microwaves, ovens and grills, leather care and cleaning sprays, a silver and gold dip, and screen wipes. Each product does one job, which makes the range easy to recommend and easy to merchandise by surface.
