About Anthon Berg
Anthon Berg has made chocolate and marzipan in Denmark since 1884. Its signature is the chocolate bottle, a small bottle moulded in chocolate and filled with a well-known spirit or liqueur, and in 2024 the bottles marked their hundredth year.
Each bottle wears the label of the drink inside. The range has featured names such as Cointreau, Famous Grouse and Mount Gay rum, and our selection includes the Cocktail boxes, the Single Malts Collection of Scotch whiskies and pieces made with Baileys and Kahlúa. Anthon Berg has belonged to Denmark’s Toms Group since 1954, alongside brands including Pingvin, Galle & Jessen and Hachez.
Marzipan is the other half of the story. Alongside the bottles we carry marzipan hearts for Christmas, marzipan bars, among them Baileys and Crunchy Hazelnut, and fruit-and-marzipan pieces such as Apricot in Brandy and Cherry in Rum, plus praline assortments and Easter gift boxes.
